10 Mar NEW DATE FOR ESPA & SPA-CE 2021
The organisers of the European Spas Association – ESPA and Slovenian Spas Association have recently concluded that the organisation of both international events at the beginning of May is too risky because of the pandemic. Therefore, the organisers have decided on a new date: from the 29th September to 1st October 2021. The venues, namely Terme 3000 – Moravske Toplice and Radenci Health Resort in Slovenia, will remain the same.
The 12th B2B workshop for spa & wellness tourism SPA-CE 2021 will once again connect providers from natural spa resorts in Slovenia and other European countries. Furthermore, it will be a meeting point for representatives of tourist agencies and tour operators from numerous European countries. The attendees will have a chance to present the advantages of their destinations and spas at the pre-arranged face2face meetings, while the hosted buyers will experience part of the offer of selected Slovenian Spas at the Rolling workshop.
As both of the events will be held simultaneously, organisers are planning networking for all participants at the evening events. SPA-CE participants will be invited to attend a part of the ESPA conference.
The 25th Annual Congress of the European Spas Association will be held under the slogan: “Think green – Be active – Stay Healthy”. The focus of the programme will be on relevant topics such as:
-The economic impacts of balneology and presenting a new perspective after COVID-19
-Training and education at different levels in the spa industry
-Medical research – update about programs and treatments, new medical services
-Sustainability, safety, and cost savings by implementing new technologies
-Destination branding, online sales, and digitalisation in health tourism
-Future health destinations, trends, and challenges in health resorts
In the last years, the ESPA Congress has been attended by more than 150 participants, including professionals in balneology, representatives of thermal resorts and spa resorts, as well as representatives of tourist destinations.
